Chapter 1: Embracing the Midweek Slump
I admit the title sounds a bit cliché, but these three strategies have truly made a difference for me.

As I write this on a Tuesday, I can't help but reflect on how this day often feels like the most challenging of the week. The weekend is just a memory, and the next one seems far off. Despite my reservations, I'm excited to share what’s been working for me.
There’s plenty of valuable information available on Medium, but I’ll focus on three specific practices that have had a significant impact on my writing.
Section 1.1: Cultivating an Idea Inventory
The first strategy involves creating an idea backlog using what I call “The Writer’s Diary.”
This approach has been my focus for the past couple of months, allowing me to gather a wealth of ideas and develop them just enough to be usable later. You might wonder if I’ve just discovered this concept—after all, it’s a fundamental aspect of writing.
While that’s true, I’ve adapted it in a way that resonates with me personally. Instead of using a simple notebook, I’ve invested in a high-quality one that inspires me to write.

This notebook is not only visually appealing but also serves as a motivational tool. Each morning, I sit down to write, often producing two or three well-developed ideas by the time I finish. I've nearly filled my first Writer’s Diary and plan to continue this practice, as it has proven worthwhile.
Note: The notebook doesn’t need to be exorbitantly priced—just enough to encourage you to take your writing seriously.
Subsection 1.1.1: Enhancing with Digital Tools
The second strategy involves complementing my physical diary with a digital notebook. In this digital era, it's essential to have a reliable tool at your fingertips. After experimenting with various writing applications, I discovered one that fits my needs perfectly—Obsidian.
Though it’s not as user-friendly as other options, it feels right for my workflow. You might find another app that suits you better, but I recommend avoiding basic tools like Apple Notes.
The benefit of a digital notebook is its accessibility; ideas often arise unexpectedly. Whether during a meeting, a casual conversation, or even a dream, I jot down fleeting thoughts without hesitation, allowing for further development later.
Section 1.2: Implementing the Kanban Methodology
Lastly, I’ve adopted the Kanban methodology for managing my projects. Initially, I was skeptical about this term, which I encountered during my time in the automotive industry. However, I’ve come to appreciate its effectiveness.
The Kanban system is straightforward: you visualize your projects and ideas moving through various stages of progress. These stages can be labeled numerically or thematically, such as “Idea,” “First Draft,” and “Final Draft.”
Using tools like Notion or even a physical board, I consistently update the progress of my ideas. This simple approach has a profound psychological impact, motivating me to see my projects through to completion.

Each time an idea moves through the stages to completion, I experience a rewarding sense of achievement, which keeps me engaged.
Chapter 2: Reflecting on Growth
The first video titled "How to grow a YouTube channel from 0 subs in 4 weeks" offers valuable insights into building an audience and expanding your online presence.
The second video, "Learn How To Get Views and Grow On YouTube," provides practical tips for increasing viewership and engagement on your content.
These are the three strategies that have positively influenced my writing journey. If you have any techniques that have worked for you, I encourage you to share them in the comments!
Reflecting on my metrics, it's clear that I still have much to learn on Medium after my four-year break.
