Chapter 1: Curated Collection Highlights
Greetings to my dear readers and fellow writers! I’m thrilled to share an eclectic mix of intriguing narratives from my recent readings and the nominations of fellow editors and passionate readers. Today, I’ve added several new voices to our community—let’s extend them a warm welcome!
As we navigate the post-Medium landscape, I noticed that scammers have begun to exploit platforms like Substack as well. Dr. Yildiz has published a crucial and enlightening article that everyone should read; these scams can have detrimental effects on vulnerable individuals.
With social media becoming more concerning, I ponder the purpose of sharing free content from Medium only to see it misused by AI tools. Initially designed to amplify our discoveries, these resources now seem to complicate our intentions.
In fact, while engaging with Dr. Yildiz's brilliant piece, I found myself tweeting some captivating excerpts that truly resonated with me. I could have highlighted and shared the entire article!
For those considering a career in ghostwriting, Dr. Yildiz's insights could be invaluable. He introduced a new writing platform called Beehiiv, which facilitates monetization and has already won my admiration for its user-friendliness. It might be particularly appealing to writers who also delve into affiliate marketing, as his mentor has seen great success with it.
Moreover, Dr. Yildiz shared a remarkable community-building article from his secondary account. If you're a new writer struggling with engagement, this story could serve as an excellent starting point.
As part of our publication efforts, I’ve launched my Substack site and highlighted newsletters from various writers contributing to our new publication on Substack. You might find some intriguing content in this special collection and meet many of the new writers I’ve introduced.
If you’re a novice writer on Substack who is accustomed to Medium and facing challenges there, I highly recommend Dr. Yildiz’s insightful piece titled "Why Your Substack Isn't Taking Off & How Medium Might Be Holding You Back Unintentionally."
Today, Dr. Yildiz conducted an enlightening interview with Tim Denning, where they discussed his impressive achievements on Substack. This interview is a must-watch!

Chapter 3: Community and Collaboration
We are excited to announce the onboarding of over 200 new writers today! If you’re seeking support or guidance, please reach out to me via our Slack workspace or Discord server. Together, we can cultivate a thriving community of writers.
In an unfortunate turn of events, our chief editor's two-decade-old Facebook account was suspended following the sharing of a story by Dr. Broadly. This incident has left many baffled, especially since all he did was promote our narratives.
Dr. Yildiz is currently contemplating whether to appeal the suspension or move on. Our Facebook pages and groups, which once served as vibrant hubs for writers and readers, have vanished, leaving many disheartened.
To combat the challenges posed by scammers, we must remain vigilant. There have been cases of popular writers being cloned, which damages reputations and trust within our community.
As we strive to keep our community informed, we’ve updated our submission guidelines to align with Medium's new distribution policies. New writers can find these updates in the following links:
