Essential Supplements for Optimal Health and Well-Being

Chapter 1: My Personal Supplement Journey
Integrating supplements into my daily routine has become essential. I don't stick to a fixed set of supplements; rather, I prefer to finish one batch before exploring others. This intuitive approach leads me back to specific favorites, which I'd like to share with you today.
Disclaimer: This is not intended as medical advice. I am not a healthcare professional. Always do your own research.
Section 1.1: The Power of Niacin (Vitamin B3)
I first encountered Niacin on my 40th birthday in 2022. Initially, it was part of a microdosing regimen that included Lion's Mane and Magic Truffles, which I easily sourced from smart shops in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, access can be limited in countries like Australia or the USA, but if you’re interested, here's an affiliate link for further exploration.
Upon purchasing the Stamets Stack, I learned about the differences between flushing and non-flushing niacin. After some research, including insights from Dr. Berg on YouTube, I opted to use the flushing version exclusively.
The flush can be quite uncomfortable—it brings about a hot and itchy sensation along with noticeable redness. However, the relaxation that follows is rewarding, and I genuinely feel that Niacin enhances the effectiveness of other supplements like Lion's Mane.
Niacin plays a vital role in optimizing metabolism and supporting cellular repair. It may help lower cholesterol and promote heart health. However, it’s essential to note that B3 might not be suitable for everyone.
Individuals with liver or intestinal conditions should avoid this potent supplement. If you take blood thinners like aspirin or diabetes medications, it’s best to consult with your healthcare provider.
For me, Niacin is a game-changer. I often deal with painful pressure in my eyes and migraines, especially during periods when I don't take B3. Since incorporating it into my regimen, both issues have significantly improved.
This morning, I kicked off my day with a 30-minute HIIT workout followed by five minutes of animal movements. After that, I took 250mg of Niacin, engaging in pranayama while experiencing the flush, and concluded with a hot shower—my favorite way to start the day. Later, I took Lion's Mane and activated charcoal to help eliminate toxins.
Section 1.2: Enhancing Focus with Lion's Mane
There are times when focusing for extended periods proves challenging, and that’s where Lion’s Mane comes into play. It enhances my concentration and maintains my productivity. However, be aware that some individuals may experience side effects, such as headaches or digestive issues, so consulting your doctor is advisable.
Lion's Mane is known to stimulate nerve growth in the brain, a crucial factor for cellular repair.
Section 1.3: The Versatile Charcoal
Charcoal has unexpectedly become a staple in my supplement arsenal. Initially unaware of its benefits, I now find it indispensable for various uses.
I often open capsules to apply the black powder (which can stain) to insect bites, and it has proven effective for my son’s diarrhea when mixed with honey.
I particularly appreciate charcoal after Niacin flushes, as it assists in eliminating toxins and alleviating bloating. However, like with the other supplements, caution is warranted for those on multiple medications, as charcoal may interfere with their effectiveness.
Chapter 2: My Supplement Trio for Health
Now you’re aware of my top three supplements. While I ideally would incorporate psilocybin microdoses to enhance my well-being and spiritual connection, these three supplements suffice for now.
Wishing you all the best on your health journey!
Warm virtual hugs,
